PoultryIndia's 7th Edition of Poultry Show and Knowledge Day seminar was a magnificent success! PoultryIndia 2013 team extends their gratitude and appreciation to our exhibitor community and the visitors for your overwhelming support and response. This poultry show was made possible by numerous people offering generous support, dedication, energy, and heart.

Poultry India 2013, Our Industry Show was jointly organized by Indian Poultry Equipment Manufacturers' Association (IPEMA) & Exhibition Advisory Committee (EAC) and supported by all major Indian Poultry Associations including National Egg Coordination Committee (NECC); CLFMA of India; Poultry Federation of India (PFI); All India Poultry Breeders Association (AIPBA); Andhra Pradesh Poultry Farmers Association (APPFA); Poultry Breeders Association (PBA-AP); West Bengal Poultry Farmers Association (WBPFA); Tamil Nadu Broiler Co-ordination Committee (TMBCC); Broiler Breeders Association - North (BBAN); Karnataka Poultry Farmers & Breeders Association (KPFBA); Indian Federation of Animal Health Companies (INFAH), Indian Poultry Journalist Association (IPJA) and All Odisha Poultry Association (AOPA).

Hon'ble Shri N. Kiran Kumar Reddy, Chief Minister, Andhra Pradesh, inaugurated 7th edition of Poultry India 2013 on November 27, 2013 at HITEX, Hyderabad. The Chief Minister assured that the state government would extend all possible help to the poultry industry which is already supporting an additional income to farmers.

Chief Minister added, "My government is committed for the development of whole livestock sector of Animal husbandry Department including Poultry, Diary, Aquaculture, Sericulture and Horticulture." Elaborating state GDP Animal Husbandry's contribution, the CM was optimistic and said that in the coming years' period it would cross the proposed targets and turnover of Dairy and Poultry would be doubled in that period.

While praising the poultry industry with the venue, the CM said, "Poultry function of Poultry India at Hitex city is already reached in Hi-Tech, otherwise it would have not reached to the place, where it is now. To survive in this poultry industry, the cost effective measures should be taken by our farmers."

Mr. Chakradhar Rao, President, Indian Poultry Equipment Manufacturers Association, commonly known as IPEMA, organizer of this world class Poultry Exhibition, welcomed and briefed the VIP dignitaries about poultry industry, which is employing and nurturing more than 60 lakh families in the country.

Mr. Rao expressed his gratitude to the Exhibition Advisory Committee (EAC). The President further said, though the Indian companies' sell their products flawlessly cannot export their goods up to the mark due to the policy matters and once again requested the CM to look into the matter.

While appreciating Poultry India Show 2013, the Joint Secretary in the Department of Animal Husbandry Dairying and Fisheries, a 1989 Batch UP Cadre IAS, Mr. Sanjay R. Bhoosreddy confirmed, "Government of India has been giving top importance to poultry and hence he had been to Hyderabad from New Delhi for the last two years and this third year too. Mr. Sanjay Bhoosreddy spoke on this occasion for the third time and expressed his happiness, interacting with the poultry industry people regularly on critical issues and giving full cooperation and support. Mr. Bhoosreddy expressed thanks to all farmers as with their help, this year they celebrated World Egg Day in a very big way and distributed more than one lakh eggs to small kids, school going children and lactating mothers. He again stated that with their whole hearted support all over India, the World Egg Day was a huge success.

PoultryIndia Show was sprawled across four exhibition halls with 1, 60, 000 square feet covered area; over 245 exhibitors in the kitty; out of which 25 percent were from overseas; the organizers satisfied with the number of visitors all over the world. The event also drew more overseas visitors. The exhibitors from USA, South Africa, China, Canada, France, Belgium, Malaysia, Singapore, Turkey, Ukarine, Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Italy, and Israel among others introduced and displayed advanced systems and technologies to the Indian market.

On second day of exhibition, November 28, 2013, a cultural program was organized which was attended by all exhibitors and special invitees. There were excellent arrangements at the cultural event and even the rain during the musical program could not stop the program and all persons enjoyed it with rain dance spirit. Seeing most of the persons dancing even in the rain at the musical program, Mr. Bahadur Ali, EAC Member said that Poultry India shines even in the rain.

A day before the inaugural on 26th November 2013, the "Knowledge Day 2013", a beautiful chapter well attended by over 600 delegates was organized at Novotel Convention Centre which got good response. The concept started by Poultry India in the form of "Knowledge Day" proved fruitful. The poultry people from all walks including veterinarians from major companies attended this 'Knowledge Day' wherein a panellist of eminent veterinarians, nutritionist and management experts satisfactorily answered to various queries of Poultry Farmers.

It is needless to say, that poultry India Show has an edge in the Indian poultry industry and is likely to remain for many years to come.

The Next year dates of Poultry Knowledge Day 2014 will be on November 25, 2014 and Poultry India 2014, Our Industry Show on November 26, 27 & 28, 2014.
