Protein warriors

Dr. P V Satyanarayana

Carbs and fats provide energy, while protein shapes our body and supports life. For a balanced diet, both plant and animal proteins are essential. A healthy body needs 1g of protein per kg weight - e.g: a 50kg person requires approximately 40-45g of protein intake daily. Protein deficiency leads to health issues. Eggs are a complete food, rich in protein, vitamins, fats, and minerals. They strengthen muscles, bones, hormones, and immunity. That’s why eggs are included even in school’s mid day meals to fight malnutrition and support healthy growth in children.
