Annual Round-Up 2025 – From the Desk of the President

Dear Esteemed Members and Friends of the Poultry Fraternity, 

As we reflect on 2025, it has been a year of remarkable momentum, purpose-driven leadership, and collaborative progress for IPEMA–Poultry India. Under my presidency, our mission has advanced through impactful initiatives across India and beyond—strongly aligned with the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s visions of Viksit Bharat and AtmaNirbhar Bharat. These collective efforts are steadily positioning India to emerge as a global poultry technology hub by 2047. 
 

This annual round-up highlights the milestones, engagements, and breakthroughs that defined IPEMA–Poultry India’s journey through 2025. 

Key Engagements & Sectoral Initiatives in the year 2025 

February | Shillong, Meghalaya

IPEMA participated in the Livestock & Poultry Development Conference, bringing together experts to deliberate on modernization in Northeast India. Discussions emphasized smart farming, stronger biosecurity, and enriched knowledge exchange as pillars for sustainable regional growth. 

April | Hyderabad & Patna

At a landmark Agri-fair in Hyderabad, IPEMA–Poultry India showcased member innovations through a dedicated stall, strengthening agri–poultry value chain linkages.

At the CII Office, Hyderabad, IPEMA engaged with CII Telangana leadership to explore collaborative programs and policy frameworks for sectoral upliftment.

In Patna, during World Veterinary Day celebrations at BAMETI, outstanding veterinary research was recognized—strengthening academia–industry ties and encouraging young researchers, especially women, in animal health sciences.

May | Chandigarh, Chitwan (Nepal) & Navi Mumbai

IPEMA co-sponsored the 2nd National Poultry Symposium in Chandigarh, addressing disease control, climate challenges, genetics, and emerging technologies.

In Chitwan, Nepal, IPEMA supported the IPR Knowledge Review, emphasizing policy reforms and cross-border collaboration across South Asia.

IPEMA–Poultry India was honoured with the prestigious “Top Industry Catalyst” Award at the Exhibition Excellence Awards 2025 in Navi Mumbai, recognizing corporate excellence and impactful industry contribution. 

June | Andhra Pradesh & Hyderabad

IPEMA played a key role in the IPJA Technical Seminar in Tanuku, attended by 350+ stakeholders, focusing on nutrition, disease prevention, automation, and collective action.

In Hyderabad, IPEMA, TPF, and NECC jointly met the Telangana Animal Husbandry Minister, opening avenues for collaborative policy reforms.

IPEMA also participated in the diplomatic farewell ceremony for the Netherlands Agricultural Counsellor, reinforcing Indo-Dutch cooperation.

July | Lonavala (Pune) & Bengaluru

IPEMA co-hosted a Vice-Chancellors’ Conclave in Lonavala, promoting curriculum modernization and industry-ready veterinary education.

In Bengaluru, IPEMA supported the National AMR Stewardship Drive by ICAR–NIVEDI, emphasizing responsible antimicrobial use and One Health collaboration. 

Aug | Kolkata & Hyderabad

The 9th IPR Annual Conclave 2025, supported by IPEMA / Poultry India, successfully united industry leaders around the theme “From Farm to Fork: Unlocking Value with Efficient, Safe, and Sustainable Poultry Processing.”

As Guest of Honour, the conclave highlighted poultry’s vital role in food security and sustainability, featured expert addresses, and honored Mr. G. N. Ghosh, India’s pioneering poultry journalist.

IPEMA / Poultry India supported the IPJA Technical Seminar on Challenges & Opportunities in Poultry, bringing together 165 delegates for expert discussions on nutrition, biosecurity, sustainability, and productivity.

IPEMA / Poultry India participated in CLFMA’s 66th National Symposium on “Animal Agriculture in India – The Way Forward,” engaging with leaders across livestock, dairy, and aquaculture.
As a panelist, I highlighted poultry’s key role in nutrition and rural growth, while strongly aligning with CLFMA’s vision for EOZs and a Livestock Export & Domestic Development Authority.

September | Hyderabad & Bengaluru

IPEMA participated in a national dialogue at ICAR–National Meat Research Institute on enhancing poultry and buffalo meat

IPEMA also supported Smart Poultry 4.0 initiatives and technical seminars focusing on digital transformation, avian influenza control, and sustainable practices. 

October | Hyderabad

IPEMA–Poultry India, in collaboration with NECC, celebrated World Egg Day through impactful school and community outreach, promoting egg nutrition and healthier protein habits among youth. Child prodigy, Equestrian champion Sushruta Kumar was the special guest, her participation highlighted the importance of egg nutrition for good health as part of our campaign

Throughout 2025, IPEMA–Poultry India actively collaborated with mainstream media, digital platforms, and podcasts—engaging audiences on poultry science, protein nutrition, rural employment, and innovation.

Grand Success: 17th Edition of Poultry India Expo 2025

The collective strength of these collaborations culminated in the record-breaking success of the 17th Poultry India Expo 2025: 
  • 500+ exhibitors from 50+ countries
  • 51,251 industry visitors
  • 35,000 sq. meters across 7 global-standard halls
Poultry Knowledge Day (25 November 2025) further strengthened knowledge exchange with 10+ international speakers and 2,000+ delegates. 

Looking Ahead

IPEMA–Poultry India stands firmly for collaboration, innovation, sustainability, knowledge-sharing, farmer empowerment, and a global outlook. From being South Asia’s Largest Poultry Exhibition in 2025, we are now evolving into the World’s Biggest Global Poultry Expo in 2026 at HITEX, Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
