Dr.Charan Das Mahanth , Union Minister of State for Agriculture addressing the Inaugural Session of Poultry India at hyderabad on 23rd November, 2011 offered the Poultry gathering to get their problems to Central Government much before AH Department send their proposals for the 12th V year plan ahead. He promised that he would help to solve the problems faced by the poultry community. I am new to the Ministry and trying to know the problems involved.
He said that he understood that 70% of Poultry shared by A.P., Karnataka, Tamilnadu and Maharastra and still we have wipe scope for development as the NIN recommendations are for 180 Eggs and 11Kg Chicken per capita consumption where as we see only 42 Eggs and 1.2 kg Chicken per appreciated that Indian Poultry is supporting the Agriculture Farmers by consumption of Feed Ingredients like Maize, Soya etc. in huge quantities. He has mentioned the name of Mr.Bahadur Ali of India Poultry Farm and due to his invitation he was here. He welcomed to the poultry entrepreneurs to Chhatthisgarh.
 
Unlike other exhibitions in India, POULTRY INDIA 2011 witnessed the real fulfillment & approval from 20240 genuine business visitors & 180exhibitors.
 
This year there were 50% more visitors from all corners of India & neighboring countries like Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka & Nepal. It was also heartening to see many visitors from Middle East, African continent & CIS countries.
