IPEMA–Poultry India Congratulates Padma Bhushan Awardee - Shri Dr. S. K. M. Maeilanandhan

IPEMA–Poultry India extends its warmest congratulations to Shri Dr. S. K. M. Maeilanandhan, eminent industrialist and philanthropist from Erode, Tamil Nadu, on being conferred the Padma Bhushan for his outstanding contributions to Social Work.

A visionary leader of the Indian poultry industry and Founder of the S.K.M. Group, Dr. Maeilanandhan’s pioneering efforts have transformed rural livelihoods and strengthened farm economies. Beyond enterprise, his decades-long commitment to inclusive social development—through initiatives in health, education, yoga, meditation, women’s empowerment, youth development, and village adoption—stands as a shining example of purpose-driven leadership.

He was earlier honoured with the Padma Shri in 2013 for his contributions to social service, making this recognition a proud milestone for the poultry fraternity and the nation.
