National Egg Day 2026: Egg Distribution Drive

National Egg Day 2026 Egg Distribution Drive, Hyderabad

As part of National Egg Day 2026, we organised an Egg Distribution Drive in Hyderabad, reaching children at Sri Adharsha Foundation, senior citizens at Sri Matha Old Age Home, and beneficiaries at Sivananda Rehabilitation Home.

The initiative highlighted the importance of eggs as an affordable source of high-quality protein and essential nutrients that support growth, strength, recovery, and overall well-being.

Dr. S. Ananth Reddy, Chief Administrator & Reconstructive Surgeon, Sivananda Rehabilitation Home, appreciated the effort and underlined the role of eggs in tissue repair, healing, and improved health outcomes.

We extended National Egg Day greetings and reiterated that increasing protein consumption and nutrition awareness is essential for a healthier India. Through such outreach, IPEMA–Poultry India remains committed to taking the message of better nutrition to every section of society.

One Egg. Many Smiles. Better Nutrition for All.

Advocacy at CII Roundtable on Poultry and Animal Feed

New Delhi — Advocacy at CII Roundtable on Poultry and Animal Feed

IPEMA–Poultry India participated in the CII Roundtable on “Poultry and Animal Feed: Ensuring Feed Security and Sustainable Growth of India’s Poultry Sector” at the India Habitat Centre.

We had the opportunity to join the release of the CII Study Paper “Unlocking the Potential of India’s Poultry Sector for Viksit Bharat 2047” alongside Chief Guest Dr. Naveena B. Maheshwarappa, Animal Husbandry Commissioner, and other industry leaders.

We strongly emphasised the urgent need for a ban or additional import duties on poultry-keeping machinery being dumped from China, which adversely impacts Indian MSME manufacturers and farmers who often receive low-quality equipment. The intervention received strong support, and Dr. Naveena assured necessary backing.

We appreciate Ms. A. V. Rajamany and the CII team for facilitating this meaningful dialogue.
