Russia Expands Egg Exports to Mitigate Oversupply Crisis
During the first eight months of 2025, Russia exported 12,500 tonnes of eggs — 93.3% more than a year earlier — as production now outstrips demand by about 20% and wholesale prices have fallen 26.5%. Per Agroexport, the top destinations were Kazakhstan (43%), Mongolia (28%) and the UAE (21%), with output reaching 23.18 billion eggs in seven months.
