Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu — On 21st February 2026, the Coimbatore edition of the IPR Knowledge Review Seminar was held at Le Meridien with a focus on the theme "Disease Dynamics and Control Strategies for Modern Poultry Production." The seminar brought together poultry farmers, veterinarians, nutritionists, consultants, and industry stakeholders to deliberate on emerging disease challenges and sustainable management practices.

Addressing the gathering as Guest of Honour, Uday Singh Bayas, President of IPEMA – Poultry India, highlighted the remarkable growth journey of Poultry India Expo — the most significant business and technology platform for the poultry industry in India and South Asia — and emphasised that collaboration, innovation, and knowledge-sharing are key to building a resilient and globally competitive poultry sector.
Mr. Bayas highlighted the pivotal role played by Tamil Nadu in India's poultry ecosystem, noting the state's strong production capabilities, integrated poultry clusters, and global export footprint. He stressed that the future of poultry production will increasingly depend on scientific disease management, stronger biosecurity systems, data-driven monitoring, and sustainable production practices.
