Kolkata, 9th August 2025: The 9th edition of the IPR Annual Conclave 2025, held in Kolkata, concluded on a highly successful note, with the active support of the Indian Poultry Equipment Manufacturers' Association (IPEMA) and Poultry India. The conclave brought together an eminent gathering of the nation's poultry business leaders, policymakers, scientists, veterinarians, academicians, and industry stakeholders under the theme: "From Farm to Fork: Unlocking Value with Efficient, Safe, and Sustainable Poultry Processing."
Mr. Uday Singh Bayas, President, IPEMA & Poultry India, graced the Conclave as Guest of Honour and emphasized the critical role of the poultry sector in driving food security, sustainability, and employment in India — reiterating IPEMA and Poultry India's continued commitment to strengthening industry collaboration, fostering innovation, and creating a globally competitive ecosystem for India's poultry processing sector.
The Conclave featured distinguished leaders including Dr. Tarun Shridhar, Director General, Indian Chamber of Food and Agriculture & Former Secretary, Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Government of India, who delivered the Thematic Address, and Mr. Sameer Agarwal, Managing Director, Shalimar Group, who shared an Industry Overview.
The Keynote Address was delivered by Mr. Abhay Parnerkar, CEO, Godrej Foods Ltd., highlighting the emerging opportunities and challenges in poultry processing.

The conclave also witnessed engaging sessions and presentations from other leading experts. Mr. Selvan Kannan, Founder, Value Consultants, moderated the Conclave, while Dr. Vijay Makhija, Chairman Biologicals Subcommittee, INFAH, led a high-impact panel discussion. The event concluded with a Valedictory Address by Prof. (Dr.) P. K. Shukla, President, Indian Poultry Science Association & Head, Department of Poultry Science, DUVASU, Mathura.
A special highlight was the felicitation of Mr. G. N. Ghosh, Founder & Managing Editor, Indian Poultry Review Group of Publications, widely regarded as India's pioneering poultry journalist, for his invaluable contribution to agricultural journalism and chronicling the growth of the poultry industry.
