IPEMA – Poultry India proudly supported and participated in the World Veterinary Day 2026 celebrations, held in collaboration with the Department of Poultry Science, College of Veterinary Science (CVSc), Rajendranagar, Hyderabad. The event was centered around the theme "Veterinarians: Guardians of Food and Health."
Under the chairmanship of Dr. R. M. V. Prasad, the event brought together distinguished speakers, faculty, students, and industry professionals for an engaging and insightful technical session.

Addressing the gathering, Shri Uday Singh Bayas emphasized the critical role of veterinarians in ensuring food safety, public health, and scientific awareness. He highlighted the importance of bridging academia and industry, appreciated the enthusiastic participation of students, and underscored the need to dispel myths surrounding poultry and nutrition.
Reaffirming IPEMA's commitment to knowledge exchange, innovation, and nurturing future professionals, the event served as a meaningful platform highlighting the indispensable role of veterinarians in the future growth of the poultry sector.
Prizes were presented to the top five winners of the elocution competition held prior to the event. The competition was based on the theme "Poultry Products and Lifestyle Diseases: Myths, Facts, and Veterinary Insights," encouraging scientific thinking and effective communication among young veterinarians — recognizing their excellence and contribution.
