Industry Engagement during the Month of August
IPEMA–Poultry India Supports 10th IPR Annual Conclave 2026
On 8 August 2026 in Kolkata, IPEMA–Poultry India proudly supported and participated in the 10th Anniversary Edition of the Indian Poultry Review (IPR) Annual Conclave 2026, themed “Adapting for a Warming World.” The landmark gathering brought together poultry industry stakeholders, policymakers, scientists, veterinarians, nutritionists, technology experts and business leaders to deliberate on the challenges and opportunities emerging from climate change.
Representing IPEMA–Poultry India, President Shri Uday Singh Bayas participated in the Strategic Dialogue, reinforcing our commitment to industry collaboration, knowledge exchange and collective action towards a sustainable and resilient poultry sector.
The discussions highlighted the growing impact of rising temperatures, heat stress, changing disease patterns, water and feed security, and the need for climate-resilient production systems — including climate-smart housing, precision nutrition, stronger biosecurity, renewable energy, water efficiency, technology-led monitoring and sustainable value chains.
Climate resilience must move from an industry aspiration to an operational priority.
First Poultry Conclave — Gorakhpur 2026
On 23 August 2026, IPEMA–Poultry India participated in and supported the First Poultry Conclave – Gorakhpur 2026 at Baba Gambhirnath Auditorium, Taramandal, bringing together farmers, poultry entrepreneurs, veterinarians, scientists, government officials, industry leaders and other stakeholders.
President Shri Uday Singh Bayas, as a speaker, shared insights on strengthening the poultry sector through greater collaboration, scientific practices, modern technology and knowledge sharing. He highlighted poultry’s role in nutritional security, quality protein, rural employment and farmers’ income generation, while stressing the importance of stronger linkages between farmers, industry, government and academia.
The conclave also underscored the potential of Gorakhpur and eastern Uttar Pradesh to emerge as a significant poultry production hub, driven by growing demand for quality protein, market opportunities and the entrepreneurial potential of rural youth.
Together for a Healthier Flock. A Stronger Future.
