The southern regional office of the Central Poultry Development Organisation (CPDO) in Bengaluru under the Union Ministry of Agriculture has entered into a joint action plan with the College of Avian Sciences and Management here under the Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (KVASU) to promote poultry business on a large scale in the State.

CPDO regional director P.S. Mahesh, who reached the college at Thiruvizhamkunnu on Saturday to address a week-long training programme for stakeholders, said the two governmental agencies would work together to boost germ plasm production apart from enhancing research in the area and successful marketing of poultry products in the State.
